This is what one of our antique Victorian Pews looks like after a contemporary paint job - Thanks very much to Mrs Kate Fletcher for sending us the picture. We did the stripping and sanding and Mrs Fletcher did the fun bit. Works well I think, especially with the Cath Kidson type soft furnishings. If anybody out there has a piece of church furniture that they have adapted into a domestic setting we’d very much like to see it and put it on this blog. No money whatsoever, simply the sense of being part of a community, sharing ideas, etc etc.
